Review rejection feedback on agreements
Rejected agreements that include a message from the signer show a red notification dot on the Agreements dashboard. Open the Review Feedback action to read the message and mark it as read or unread.
Where the unread indicator appears
When a signer rejects an agreement and leaves a message, the agreement row shows a small red dot next to the 3-dot menu. The same dot appears on the Review Feedback menu item inside the menu.
Only rejected agreements with an unread message show the dot. Agreements that were rejected without a message, or agreements where the message has already been marked as read, do not show the indicator.
Open the rejection message
On the Agreements page, find the rejected agreement with the red dot.
Click the 3-dot menu on the right side of the row.
Click Review Feedback.
What the Rejection Message modal shows
The Rejection Message modal shows the signer’s email followed by the message they entered when rejecting the agreement.
Mark as Read or Unread
At the bottom of the modal is a toggle button:
Mark as Read — appears when the message is currently unread. Clicking it removes the red dot from the agreement row and lowers the Attention Needed count on the dashboard.
Mark as Unread — appears after the message has been marked as read. Clicking it restores the red dot and raises the Attention Needed count.
Attention Needed stat
The Attention Needed stat on the Agreements page counts only agreements with unread rejection feedback. It does not count rejected agreements that have no message or agreements where the message has already been read.
Rejected agreements cannot be deleted. You can send a new agreement or edit the original template and resend it.
